PROJECT TITLE: DESIGN OF WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM FOR EXTINGUISHING FIRE (AIR HEATER UNIT 1-6)

Scope Summary:

The scope of work is to design a water supply system to extinguish fire inside the air heaters. The designed system should cater for Units 1- 6. The water supply line must tap off from the existing fire hydrant. The water supply system must accommodate fire detections components. However, the valve on the water supply line to each air heater must be manually actuated in the event of fire inside the air heaters. Technical support must be provided throughout the manufacturing and installation phase of each unit. Unit specific drawings must be provided, supported by the engineering reports detailing variation justification, if any, from one unit to the other.

 

Deliverables:

• Unit specific engineering detailed drawings for the water supply system and the required supports.
• Design calculation according to an applicable engineering code.
• Design report
• Technical support during modification justification, manufacturing and installation phase for all units.
