FMECA (Failure Mode Effects Cause Analysis)

  • Potential Functional Failure
  • Potential Failure Mode
  • Potential Failure Effects
  • Functional Importance (Criticality)
  • Root Cause Analysis

 

From the above, the following is developed:

  • Maintenance Action (Corrective/Preventive)
  • Maintenance Strategy
  • Reliability Bases Optimization Frequency, etc.
  • The spares strategy can therefore be developed from this approach.
